Acoustic Ceilings in Dayton, OH

We install acoustic ceilings for general contractors on commercial fit-ups and ground-up builds. Grid set off a laser, field centered so cut tiles land at the walls, and layout coordinated with the light and diffuser plan before a wire goes up.

Ceilings for every kind of build

Our Dayton ceiling work spans national franchise and corporate retail, restaurants, grocery stores, banks, senior living communities, offices, municipal buildings, and medical and animal hospitals. Each build type brings its own brand standards, acoustic targets, and code requirements, and we plan the grid around them.

We handle standard 2x2 and 2x4 acoustical tile, tegular and reveal edge, plus clouds and floating islands where the design wants the deck exposed. Fire rated ceiling assemblies get built to the listed assembly. Tile is sequenced after MEP trim wherever the schedule allows.

How our Dayton ceiling installs run

01

Above-ceiling survey

We walk the deck for duct, sprinkler mains, and structure, then set one grid elevation that clears everything.

02

Grid layout and hang

Field centered so border cuts match on both walls, hanger wire at 4 feet, and every main and cross tee leveled by laser.

03

Tile and trim out

Tile drops after MEP trim, with cut tile around diffusers and sprinklers made on site so reveals stay even.

Ceiling questions from general contractors and owners

Can you install acoustic ceilings in an occupied building?

Yes. We section the floor, work off rolling stages, and pull and reset tile in occupied spaces without shutting the tenant down. Flexible start times let us fit the building’s access hours.

Do you supply the tile or do we?

Either way. We keep pricing on the common Armstrong and USG lines, or we install owner-furnished tile if the design specifies something long-lead.

What NRC and CAC ratings do you install?

We install tile across the common NRC and CAC ranges and will walk you through the options against the acoustic targets in your spec, from open offices and call areas to exam rooms and senior living corridors.
