Drywall Hanging & Finishing in Cincinnati, OH

We hang board and finish it for general contractors on commercial fit-ups, ground-up builds, and residential interiors. Finished to the specified level, through Level 5, then checked under the light the space will actually be used in.

Board and finish, judged up close

Around Cincinnati that means corporate office interiors, restaurant and retail build-outs, grocery and oil change stores, bank branches, senior living, municipal buildings, and medical and animal hospitals — plus residential work that keeps our finishers sharp.

Fire rated assemblies are built to the listed assembly with layers staggered and penetrations firestopped before ceilings close in. FRP, moisture and mold-resistant board, and plaster repair all fall inside our scope.

Our Cincinnati hang and finish sequence

01

Sheet layout

We plan seams off the drawings to keep joints away from glazing, long sightlines, and any wall taking gloss or dark paint.

02

Hanging and firestopping

Screws to pattern, rated layers staggered, and top-of-wall and penetrations firestopped before ceiling work begins.

03

Finishing and light check

Coated and sanded to the specified finish level, then walked with the GC before turnover.

Drywall questions from Cincinnati general contractors

How far do you take the finish?

We finish to whatever level the specification calls for, through Level 5. Commercial and residential interiors get the same joint and corner attention.

Can you hang and finish around an occupied tenant?

Yes. Containment goes up and we run negative air where it’s needed so neighboring tenants stay open while we work.

Is FRP and moisture-resistant board part of your scope?

It is. FRP panels, moisture and mold-resistant board, and fire rated assemblies are standard for us — common on restaurants, grocery, oil change stores, and animal hospitals.
